DXC Medical’s founder, Darren Compton is a strong advocate for building long-term, sustainable workforce solutions. With over 20 years of experience in recruitment, including five years as the National General Practitioner Recruitment Manager for a leading medical services provider. Here he recognised a clear gap in the industry; a lack of knowledge, time, and resources dedicated to effectively connecting GPs with practices. That insight led to the creation of DXC, which has now been going strong for 15 years and continues to grow.
Darren has actively lobbied government on workforce issues, including attending Parliament House in 2019 alongside Shoalhaven Family Medical Centres to meet with Minister Butler and Minister Hazzard, where they discussed improvements to the existing 3GA training programs for IMGs.
He currently collaborates with Professor Alam Yoosuff (Vice President of the Rural Doctors Association) and contributes to the RACGP FSP Focus Group.
